Na’il Saleh earned his Ph.D. in Photochemistry from the United States and began his academic career in Jordan, where he established a laboratory for photoluminescence (PL) studies of small organic molecules. In 2021, he joined the United Arab Emirates University, where he founded a laboratory for time-resolved PL studies of solid optical materials and supramolecular semiconductors. His research focuses on solid-state optical and photo(electro)chemical measurements, as well as advanced kinetic analyses to explore exciton and charge-carrier dynamics in semiconductors and related materials.
The UAE ACS Chapter stands as a platform where chemistry connects people, ideas, and opportunity. Our goal is to strengthen the scientific community in the UAE by fostering collaboration, supporting young chemists, and building meaningful ties with the global network of the American Chemical Society. Together, we are shaping a future where chemistry drives innovation and impact.
